The Mercury Pool Tour is the club's billiards league, played week after week without a break. It is not a one-off event: 97 tournaments have been held over the past year, and 108 players have a place on the leaderboard. Organiser: Iulian Cocoral.
You play for points, climb the rankings, and come back the following week. That is what makes Mercury a club, not just tables you rent by the hour.
Once a year, the best on the leaderboard meet at the grand final. Mercury Cup.
The Mercury Pool Tour has also seen teams compete under their own names: Brain Ducks, Se7en, Pitesti Team, Six-Pack, Corleone.

Balls are pocketed in sequence from 1 to 9. You must always contact the lowest-numbered ball first; whoever pockets the 9 wins the rack. Fast pace, short format. The most-played discipline on the Mercury Pool Tour: Amateurs on Tuesday, ProAm on Friday.
Same sequential logic, but with strict call-shot: you name the ball and the pocket before every shot, no flukes. More disciplined, harder on mistakes. Played at ProAm on Sunday afternoon.
Two sets of balls, the black 8 last. The format everyone knows, suited to open play and special editions throughout the year.
