From your side, the site needs to be ready: clear and accessible, three-phase power available, floor load verified by an engineer, machinery access where needed. As an industry reference, the physical installation usually runs from a few working days for a pair of lanes to several weeks for a large centre, excluding equipment fabrication and transport, which come separately. Your exact window goes into the written quote after the site assessment.

This applies to new builds and to modernization alike: an existing centre replacing lanes, pinsetters or scoring gets the same process from step 3 on.

The first question anyone asks, and the honest answer is that a lane is not a shelf product, it is a project. What makes up the cost:

  • The equipment itself:lane surface, pinsetter, ball return, scoring. The largest share of the budget, and the choice between new and reconditioned equipment changes the order of magnitude.
  • Pinsetter type:classic free-fall machines and string machines carry different purchase costs and, just as important, different maintenance costs over the years that follow.
  • Site preparation:subfloor, leveling, three-phase power, ventilation. A space that needs serious works can cost a meaningful share of the equipment budget.
  • Number of lanes:a second lane does not double the cost; part of the infrastructure is shared. That is why a pair of lanes is the usual starting configuration.
  • Installation and calibration:the labour, the trials, the handover.

Your lanes are down and the company that installed them no longer answers the phone. We come. We service any make of bowling equipment, whoever installed it, and we never tie an intervention to a new purchase.

That makes us the odd one out on this market: the big equipment houses service what they sell, and their attention goes to large new centres. If you run two lanes in a hotel basement, or four lanes someone else installed years ago, we are built for exactly you.

How an intervention runs: describe the symptoms in the form, attach a photo or video. We confirm when we arrive. On-site diagnosis, mechanical, electrical and scoring. Warning signs, before a lane stops mid-programme:

The pinsetter misplacing or dropping pins, cycle times stretching between frames, unusual mechanical noise from the ball return, frequent scoring errors or freezes, patches of uneven sheen on the lane. A lane down in the middle of a busy evening is lost revenue, directly. Catch it from the signs.

Spare parts: we hold our own stock of consumables and common wear parts, the ones that stop a lane most often: belts, bearings, gaskets. Model-specific parts are sourced to order. You order nothing; identification and procurement are on us.

Maintenance contracts: scheduled visits at an agreed frequency, priority booking, and a condition report after every visit. The client with a contract has the fewest stopped lanes over the year.
