About Mercury · the billiards club since 2008

We opened in 2008, in the Titan area. We moved to the centre, to Carol I 61, without changing what matters: good tables, serious play, and a community that comes back week after week.

Community

A club, not a room for hire

The difference between a club and a room for hire? You see it in the calendar. We have run our own tournament from the start. Week after week the Mercury Pool Tour runs: Tuesday the Amateurs, Friday and Sunday the ProAm, with a points ranking. The standings and the players are on the tournament page.

And once a year the big final is played, the Mercury Cup, which pulls the whole club together for the title. Its editions and its story are on the final's page.

The ones at the top of the ranking are at the table almost every week. The people who play here know each other, and that doesn't add up in one season. The community makes the club.
